Terminal Attraction

the setting/story:

This piece written for MIDI orchestra and piano was set to a “lockdown dance” film choreographed and danced by Bulgarian-Armenian director, choreographer, performer, and writer Kosta Karakashyan. It was filmed from his hotel balcony in Cairo at the Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo during peak COVID in quarantine, when people weren’t allowed to roam the hotel. This premiered on WWF Bulgaria’s Earth Hour in March 2021. In Kosta’s words, “Here’s to making it work and creating in any circumstances.”
